How We Nourish Our Planet
Emissions and Climate Change
Reducing our carbon footprint meant taking a hard look at our value chain — and ways we can meet our new climate goal. As a result, we’ve set a climate goal to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 in line with the Science Based Targets initiative’s (SBTi) Net-Zero Standard.
Agriculture
Growing a healthier and more hopeful future starts with how we grow our food. Our dedicated growers’ sustainable agricultural practices — from soil sampling to low-pressure irrigation — help us produce our fruits and vegetables with less waste and impact.
Manufacturing
Team members from across the company are working to reduce costs and impact by discovering ways to use less energy, less water and reduce waste in our plants and operations.
Supply Chain
Our team is committed to reducing our carbon footprint up and down the supply chain by finding operational efficiencies and minimizing our environmental impact.
